What is a scheduled job
A scheduled job is an advanced booking made by the passenger. We’ll assign the job to you approximately 10 minutes prior to the pick-up time. You’ll earn an additional $8 (included in the base fare) for completing a scheduled job and as compensation for potential waiting time if you arrive earlier than the pick-up time
Do I need to manually add the $8 for a scheduled job
The $8 scheduling fee will be included in the fare, hence you are not required to add in the charges manually.

Passenger fares take into account surge at real time, and will also include an $8 scheduling fee.
How to identify a scheduled job
You’ll see a yellow banner on the job card for scheduled ride. If you’re on Auto Accept, you’ll see a popup notification indicating the requested pick up time.
You can also tap More to check the requested pick-up time.
What to do if passenger is uncontactable
Check to see if you’ve arrived ahead of the scheduled pick-up time first. If so, simply message your passenger that you’ve arrived via GrabChat – but don’t hurry him or her. If the passenger still doesn’t arrive within 5 minutes of the pick-up time and is uncontactable, you may cancel the trip under the reason “passenger no-show”.
