Who can buy Grab Partner Guard?
This Policy is designed exclusively for Grab Drivers who are Singapore Residents aged between 18 and 70 years old (both ages inclusive). The Policy is renewable up to age 75 years old (age inclusive).
I am over 70 years old; can I purchase Grab Partner Guard?
No, the last entry age to this Policy is 70 years old. If you purchased the Policy before you reach 70 years old, you can renew the Policy up till age 75 years old
Can I buy Grab Partner Guard if I have pre-existing medical conditions?
Yes. But any Pre-Existing Medical Condition will not be covered.
Pre-Existing Medical Condition means any condition for which a doctor was consulted or for which treatment or medication was prescribed prior to the Commencement Date; or a condition, the manifestation or symptoms of which a reasonable person in the circumstances would be expected to be aware of at the Commencement Date.
What happen if I have existing accident coverage?
The benefits in this Policy are payable in addition to any other insurance benefits to which you may be entitled except for those that is on reimbursement basis (Medical Expense and Mobility aid) as specifically stated in the Policy.
Am I covered out of Singapore?
Yes, this Policy provides you with worldwide coverage.
Does my coverage start immediately or there is a waiting period?
The coverage will commence immediately from the date of purchase.
Does the policy only cover me when I am driving?
The policy provides you with cover even when you are not driving, subject to policy terms and conditions.
Will my coverage still be valid if I take a break from being a Grab Driver?
Yes, this Policy will continue to cover you as it is transportable.
When and how will I receive my policy?
The Policy document will be sent to you via your registered email address within 3 to 5 working days, upon sign up.
I lost my policy document; what should I do?

Can I upgrade/downgrade my coverage limit or add on coverage for my dependents after I purchased the policy?
Yes. Kindly contact Chubb’s Customer Service Representatives at +65 6299 0988 (Mondays to Fridays 9.00am to 5.00pm (excluding Public Holidays) for assistance. Please note that where an Upgrade is the addition of a Spouse and/or a Dependent Child(ren), all references in this definition to Commencement Date should be read as being Upgrade Effective Date in relation to the Spouse and/or the Dependent Child(ren).
How do I make a claim?
Please submit your claims online at the Chubb Claim Centre. Alternatively, you may contact Chubb’s Customer Service Representatives at +65 6299 0988 (Mondays to Fridays 9.00am to 5.00pm (excluding Public Holidays) or write in to Chubb at A&H.Claims.Singapore@chubb.com for assistance.
What documents must I submit for my claim?
For claims, please ensure to complete a claim form and attach:
- Receipts for any expenses that are being claimed;
- Any reports that have been obtained from the police, a carrier or other authorities about an accident, loss or damage;
- Any other documentary evidence related to the accident, loss or damage.
If I seek treatment from a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Practitioner for an injury due to an accident, will the medical expenses be claimable?
Yes, it is claimable however there is a maximum sub-limit of S$750 per injury.
Can I use my spouse or dependent’s payment details?
The policy premium for this Policy is payable by the Main Insured or Insured’s immediate family member.
Is there a free look period?
This Policy has a 30 days Review Period. Any policy premium collected will be refunded to the Insured if cancellation takes place within 30 days from the date of purchase.
Will I get a refund should I decide to discontinue the Policy?
- For Policies under monthly premium deduction, cancellation can be done at the end of any Period of Insurance, no refund will be made.
- For Policies under annual premium deduction, cancellation can be done anytime by giving Chubb at least one(1) month’s prior notice, any unused premium will be refunded.
