Changing my vehicle info

Good news! You can now submit your change vehicle request via the Grab Driver App.

Please ensure that your driver app is updated to the latest version to upload documents directly in the app. The minimum Grab Driver app version is:

• iOS -  v1.171.0
• Android - v5.184.0

E-Hailing driver-partners

The EVP application for new plate changes will take about 5 working days (Peninsular Malaysia). We will inform you via SMS as soon as we complete the vehicle change.

Note: We can only change your vehicle when you are not online with bookings (In-transit) and located in your registered city.

GrabCar - MultiCity Feature

By using this feature, all the account details are linked to your Home City. Please make sure all the changes, such as your registered vehicle are updated when you are located in your Home City. Otherwise, the changes won't be reflected until you are back in your Home City.

How to Change Vehicle:

• You will see the Pending Review status once you have successfully submitted the request.
• If your submission is rejected, tap "Needs Update" to check on the rejected reason and re-upload the correct document. Make sure the wordings in your documents can be seen clearly.

Note: Do not go online with an unregistered vehicle. Upon submission, we will verify and update your vehicle within 3 working days.

Here's how you should upload your Insurance cover note and Road Tax.

The uploaded document needs to include the below details (No handwritten):

• Insured Name(Your Full Name)
• Car Model
• Car Plate Number
• Year of manufacture
• Period of coverage (Expiry Date)
