How to use Demand Heat Map

Wondering where to go for booking? With an enhanced Heat Map feature in the driver app, a new icon will be used on the home screen, instead of the existing icon.

Now, instead of a  Red spot, we will have a heatmap tile on the map  and different gradients of RED will be used to represent demand.

If I drive towards a red area, will I definitely receive a ride booking?
Red areas on the map are areas of high absolute demand. However, the demand for that area may decrease as you drive towards it. Should this happen, the area will get less red over time.

How often does the Demand Heatmap refresh?
The heat map refreshes every 5 minutes.

Will I be able to use the new Demand Heatmap?
Yes, you will be able to zoom into street level. Max zoom = city level; Minimum zoom = street level.

Why am I seeing a different heatmap from another Grab Driver?
This could be because you and the other driver have different verticals/services enabled. The heatmaps will change depending on the services enabled. If two Drivers from the same city have the same services enabled, they will see the same heatmap.
