Car Wrap Programme allows Grab to wrap your car with our campaign branding, providing a steady source of additional income while you are driving with Grab.
Q: I’m interested to wrap my car. How can I join the programme?
A: There are some requirements to join the car wrap programme. You will need to be a Gold or Platinum status in GrabAllStars portal. If you’re a Gold or Platinum status in GrabAllStars, you will see the reward and be able to sign up for it.
Q: What car models can join the programme?
A: Our car wrap campaigns are currently open to Perodua Myvi, Perodua Bezza, Perodua Alza, Proton Iriz, Proton Saga, Proton Persona, Honda City, Toyota Vios, Nissan Almera. We are looking to opening to more car models soon.
The requirement differs for each campaign, you will be contacted if your car model fulfills the requirement as well as your GrabAllStars status.
Q: What are the requirements to get RM350 per month?
A: Fulfill 80 online hours (drive with Grab) and above per month to get RM350 per month.
Q: If I can't meet my minimum requirement of 80 hours per month, how will Grab pro-rate? Let's I manage to do 50 hours only for the month.
A: You will need to fulfill a minimum of 80 hours per month to receive full payment. Otherwise, Grab will prorate the payment to RM100 instead. If your online hours is really low (20 hours and below), you will not receive payment as it does not fulfill the requirement. Please increase your online hours next month to receive full payment.
Q: How do I receive the monthly payment?
A: You will receive the monthly payment in your cash wallet (Grab Driver app).
Q: Can I remove the car wrap anytime?
A: No, you have to fulfil the duration as per contract (eg. 3 months from the date of wrap).
Q: Is there any penalty for removing the wrap early? (car accidents are exempted from the penalty)
A: Yes, you will have to reimburse/pay the following to Grab:
- 50% of the production cost (RM200-RM300)
- 50% of the monthly payment received (eg. half of RM350 if he has received the 1st-month payment)
Q: If my car gets into an accident, will Grab cover the repair cost? Will Grab cover my insurance?
A: No, Grab will only compensate up to RM150 if driver is not able to claim his insurance. Driver should claim his own insurance. Having the wrap on doesn’t mean a vehicle becomes ineligible for insurance upon incident. It is based on the determination of the insurance company.
Q: Does all car wrap campaign pay the same amount? Why is my amount different from another campaign (eg. Watsons car wrap)?
A: All car wrap campaigns offer different monthly payment depending on the campaign duration and requirement.
Q: When do I receive my car wrap payment?
A: You will receive your car wrap payment a month after your wrap date (7 days after).
